I am a PhD student at Vanderbilt University in the Department of Political Science. My research interests center on terrorism and armed non-state actors. I am especially interested in how armed non-state actors, such as terrorists, influence the dynamics of conflict. I study terrorist tactics, operations, and ideology and their role in violent conflict. I also explore the downstream effects of terrorism, political violence, and armed non-state actors on political processes and policies.
